The Bears' Blog November 28

The Bears’ Blog…

It is so heart-warming to see the generosity of our Pine Street family.  Thank you for all of your donations to the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau!

We had a great day with our EIPS Numeracy Consultant on November 26.  She spent the day in different classrooms playing math games with our students, demonstrating guided math and instructional fact fluency strategies for our staff.  Under our Parents Tab on the Pine Street school website, there are some great videos of math games you can play at home with your students!

Thanks to all of the families that came to watch Dora and the Lost City of Gold on November 22.  The movie and pizza were great!  Kudos go out to the School Council organizing committee for their continued support in creating these community building opportunities for our Pine Street families.

SAVE THE DATE!  Our kindergarten to grade six Christmas concert is fast approaching on December 11.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:00 p.m. This concert will include all students from kindergarten to grade 6 together at The Park Church. Our wonderful School Council are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win 3 sets of front row seats (4 seats per winner) plus reserved parking (1 parking stall per winner)! Tickets are $1 each. The raffle is open until December 4. Click here for the order form.

If you pre-order a yearbook for your student before November 30, you will get 5% off!  More information can be found under our Parents Tab.
