Inclement Weather When the temperature falls below -22 with wind chill, students can enter the building at the 8:20 a.m. bell instead of remaining outside. Recess will be indoors unless it warms up throughout the day. Please ensure your students have winter coats, snow pants, hats and mittens so they can play outside if weather permits.

The Elk Island Regional Honour Choir Association offers three auditioned choirs for students residing in and around Strathcona County from ages 5 to 9. The association’s goals are to enrich the musical experiences of gifted amateur singers, grow a connection to the community in our youth and allow students to let their passions blossom. The Elk Island Regional Honour Choir is currently holding virtual auditions to join the choir! Auditions close Jan. 16, 2022. Weekly in-person rehearsals resume on January 10.
